Microsoft patch tuesday problem with Symantec Cloud Endpoint protection?, (Thu, Aug 13th)

Reader Tim reported a problem with MS15-084 patch in Symantec Cloud Endpoint Protection. After installing the patch, the following message appears in the log:

A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the SsPaAdmin service
